SUMMARY:The BROCKEN Ascent: An Intensive Pilgrimage
DESCRIPTION:The Brocken Ascent is a physically demanding pilgrimage weekend for those who want to move beyond comfort — through the body\, toward clarity. \n​Over two days\, we walk 40-47 km through the Harz Mountains\, ascending 900 meters to the summit of the Brocken (1\,141 m)\, the highest peak in Northern Germany. We ascend via the Ilse Valley and descend the following day through the Bode Valley\, following rivers\, forests and mountain landscapes. \n​This weekend is for people ready: \n\n​for a serious physical challenge\n​for silence and reflection\n​for meaningful conversation\n\n​Pilgrimage is an ancient spiritual and cultural practice. Rooted in Christian tradition\, open to all. \n​We walk together as a small group (minimum 5\, maximum 9 participants + guide).​​ \n\n​Physical Requirements \n\n​Prior hiking experience\n​Comfortable walking around 20-25 km per day\n​Sure-footed on uneven terrain\n​Willingness to start early and walk in all weather\n\nThis weekend is intentionally intensive. Please join only if you feel prepared for the physical demand. \n\n​Schedule \n​Saturday: \n\n​Early departure (5 am) from Berlin Hbf. to Ilsenburg by train (Deutschlandticket)\n​Ascent to the summit (12.5 km)\, descent to Schierke (7 km)\n​Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Schierke\n​(Individual arrival on Friday is possible at your own organisation.)\n\n​Sunday: \n\n​Breakfast at the accommodation\n​​Descent through the Bodetal to Rübeland (19 km\, optional extension to the Rappbodetalsperre +7 km)\n​Return via Wernigerode by bus and to Berlin by train (Deutschlandticket)\n\n\n​Preparation & Integration \n​Two weeks before departure\, we meet online for a preparation session: \n\n​Equipment & packing\n​Mental preparation\n​Setting an intention for the pilgrimage\n\n​Two weeks after the weekend\, we meet again (online or in Berlin) for integration: \n\n​What has shifted?\n​What remains?\n​How do we carry this into daily life?\n\n\n​Costs \n​Early Bird (until April 19): 189€ \n​Regular: 229€ \n​Includes accommodation (1 night\, shared double room)\, Sunday breakfast\, guidance\, organisation\, preparation and integration. SUMMARY:Pilgern in der Sommerzeit – Jacobsdorf nach Fürstenwalde/Spree (16 km/25 km)
DESCRIPTION:Eine eintägige Pilgerwanderung auf dem Brandenburger Jakobsweg (Südroute). Wir starten in Jacobsdorf\, dem Sitz der Jakobusgesellschaft Berlin-Brandenburg-Oderregion\, und pilgern über Briesen und Berkenbrück bis in die Domstadt Fürstenwalde/Spree. \nDer Weg führt zunächst durch offene Feldlandschaft\, später durch Wälder\, vorbei an kleinen Tümpeln und Moorgebieten. Bei warmem Wetter ist eine Badepause in der Spree vorgesehen. Wer die längere Strecke nicht gehen möchte\, kann die Wanderung bereits nach 16 km in Berkenbrück beenden und von dort aus die Rückfahrt antreten. \nDiese Pilgerwanderung ist international angelegt. Es wird deutsch und englisch gesprochen. \nAuf einen Blick \n\nDatum: Samstag\, 1.
