Join us for a lakeside pilgrimage through forests, historic parks, and quiet waterside villages. This scenic circular hike around Schwielowsee offers beautiful trails, moments of stillness, and a refreshing connection to nature – just outside Berlin.

• Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
• Start: 8:53 AM at Caputh-Geltow Train Station (Travel via RE1 from Berlin Ostkreuz at 7:43 AM – stops at Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße, Hauptbahnhof, Zoo. Transfer in Potsdam Hbf to RB33 toward Beelitz)
• End: Around 5:08 PM at Caputh-Geltow Station (Return via RB33 with transfer in Potsdam Hbf – runs hourly)

• Walk along the lakeshore trail with wide views across Schwielowsee
• Visit the historic Petzow Castle and Park
• Optional swim at the Ferch lakeside beach
• Enjoy quiet forest trails for mindful walking and forest bathing

Pilgrimage is about more than walking – it’s a mindful journey into the present moment. We walk at a steady, reflective pace, including a shared silent segment of 30 – 60 minutes.

• Terrain & Distance: 19.5 km, mostly flat lakeside and forest trails
• Food & Water: Please bring your own supplies – few shops along the route
• Clothing: Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring swimwear if you’d like a dip
