This pilgrimage hike leads us around Mellensee, following walking paths through forests, meadows, fields, and small villages. The wide landscape and steady rhythm of walking create space to reflect on a theme that touches many of us deeply: the balance between effort, rest, and what truly gives our work meaning.

🤔 Why This Pilgrimage?
Many of us live between constant activity and exhaustion. We work, rest, recover – and often repeat the cycle without pausing to ask what truly sustains us.
This pilgrimage is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and reflect on life’s important questions. We’ll walk at a relaxed pace, share thoughts, and take time for moments of silence – about 30 minutes to an hour – to listen to nature and our inner voices.
🔔 What to know & bring
- Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy walking or hiking shoes.
- Bring enough food and water for the whole day.
- There will be a break at a swimming spot. If you’d like to swim, bring swimwear, a towel, and dry clothes.
- Please remember your public transport ticket for arrival and departure.
