Pilgrim Walk with Refugees: Wünsdorf – Zossen (11 km)

On the occasion of the Feast of the Sacred Heart, the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) invites to a pilgrimage with refugees from the Wünsdorf First Reception Center to the Catholic church in Zossen. The route covers 11 km through the forest, with a stop at the lake Mellensee.
Start: 1:00 PM at the entrance to the Wünsdorf First Reception Center, Hauptallee 116/4, 15806 Zossen OT Wünsdorf
Closing: 4:00 PM Holy Mass at the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wasserstraße 7, 15806 Zossen
Getting there: RE8 from Berlin Hbf (11:41) to Wünsdorf-Waldstadt (12:25), then 1.5 km (15 min) on foot to the starting point.
Return: RE8 from Zossen station (17:39) back to Berlin.
This is not a Berlin Pilgrims walk – it is organised and led by the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS). As a pilgrim guide, I will be leading the way along the Baruther Linie. The walk brings together refugees from the centre and interested participants from Berlin and Brandenburg. You are warmly invited!
Registration is not needed. If you have questions or need help with planning your trip, feel free to reach out (alexander.steinfeldt@outlook.com).
