Pilgrimage Hike: Bernau to Karow (16,5 km)

Join us for a special one-day pilgrimage walk along the Brandenburg Camino!

This route leads us from the historic old town of Bernau through parks and along the Panke trail to the Karow Ponds on the outskirts of Berlin. Along this path, which combines proximity to the city with natural surroundings, we take time for silence, sharing, and new perspectives.

📅 Date & Time

• Date: Saturday, 5 July 2025
• Start: 9.52 am at Bernau (b Berlin) Station (Travel via RE 3 from Berlin Südkreuz at 8.25 am, direction Stralsund, stops at Potsdamer Platz, Hauptbahnhof, Gesundbrunnen)
• Finish: approx. 4.00 pm at Karow Station (Return via S2 towards Berlin, every 10 minutes)

🤔 Why This Hike?

Pilgrimage is about more than walking – it’s a mindful journey into the present moment. We walk at a steady, reflective pace, including a shared silent segment of 30 – 60 minutes.

🔔 Important Information

• Terrain & Distance: 16.5 km, mostly flat, paved paths
• Food & Drink: Please bring sufficient food and water.
• Clothing: Weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection and comfortable shoes
• Public transport: The walk can be ended early at various S-Bahn stations along the way, if needed.
