Pilgrimage Hike: Beelitz to Treuenbrietzen (25,5 km)

Join us for a special one-day pilgrimage hike along the Brandenburg Camino!

This route takes us from the asparagus town of Beelitz through quiet villages, past old fieldstone churches and across wide, rural cultural landscapes, all the way to the historic old town of Treuenbrietzen. Along the way, we open ourselves to silence, exchange, and new perspectives – through walking and being on the journey together.

📅 Date & Time

• Date: Saturday, 6 September 2025
• Start: 8.00 am at Beelitz Stadt Station (Travel via RE 1 from Berlin Ostkreuz at 7.43 am, stops at Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße, Hauptbahnhof, Zoo; Transfer at Potsdam Hbf to RB 33 towards Beelitz)
• Finish: approx. 5.32 pm at Treuenbrietzen Station (Return via RB 33; Transfer at Potsdam Hbf, trains run hourly)

• Through the old town of Beelitz – known for its asparagus
• Pilgrimage walk on the Brandenburg Camino
• Through villages, past old village churches – with a chance to collect a pilgrim stamp (Bring your pilgrim passport!)
• Finishing in the historic centre of Treuenbrietzen

🔔 Important Notes

• Terrain & Distance: 25.5 km, mostly flat, easy-to-walk field paths and roads.
• Suitable only for experienced hikers due to the length!
• Food & Drink: Please bring enough food and water for the day.
• Clothing: Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
• Public transport: It is possible to end the walk early in Buchholz if needed.

Pilgrimage is about more than walking – it’s a mindful journey into the present moment. We walk at a steady, reflective pace, including a shared silent segment of 30 – 60 minutes.
